The Heine family was of German origin.

Ludwig Heine was born in Hessen, Germany Dec. 10, 1823. He died March 6, 1902 in Hanover, Illinois and was buried in Immanual Church Cemetery, Hoosier Grove (Now called United Church of Christ, Old Church Rd., Streamwood, IL. He came to America about 1860, and worked on the Kamlage farm as a hired man. Wilhelmina Krentler, his sweatheart from Germany, was born in Hessen, Germany on Sept. 6, 1825 and died March 10,1910 and was buried in Hanover, IL. with Ludwig. She and a girl friend left Germany and came to Chicago, where Ludwig met her and married her at home of a friend. They left Chicago and came to Ontarioville, where Ludwig workedas a hired hand on the Schueneman farm. They soon bought the 35 acres east of the church where they raised 3 sons & a daughter. They were members of the Immanual Church. Ludwig was a stone mason by trade. His services were in large demand. They sold their farm in their declining years to their son, Herman, and went to live with their son, William and his wife, Mary. They both lived to ripe old age.

Wilhelmina married William Flentge on 6/30/1892 and died 5/15/1942. William Heine married Mary Kamlage 5/25/1893 and died 1/12/1945. Mary Kramlage born 10/25/1871 in Hanover Twp. and died  \11/15/1956. They had 10 Children.
