Kenneth was born Aug. 4, 1930 in Kewanee at 7 ½ lbs. He attended Wethersfield Schools. He served in the military in Korea where he helped save a young boy called Kim. He was stabbed with a knife by 2 North Koreans but escaped by killing both of them. On 10/2/1954 he married JoAnn VanBroundghen of Kewanee who is a Registered Nurse. She was born on 7/4/1932.

He work at American Distillery plant in Pekin, IL & lived in Green Valley, IL. They had 3 children Kim & Karen. He passed away 1/6/1993.

Karen graduated from Green Valley High School, Green Valley, IL. in 1980 and is a Registered Nurse at Pekin Hospital, Pekin, IL. She married Richard Conkling on 11/1/1980 and had 2 children. She divorced him on 9/1986. Karen next married Don Colson on 9/27/1987. They were divorced 9/25/1989. Next, she married Gary Shay on 6/22/1996. They divorced on 12/9/1999.
