Marilyn Hamilton
Marilyn Jean was born March 10, 1934 at 7 ½ lbs. Marilyn graduated
from Wethersfield High School in 1952. She was the drum majorette &
football homecoming queen. She was also the track queen for the Blackhawk
Conference. She married Ronald V. Corwin on 8/30/1953 in Kewanee, IL at
1st Baptist Church and had 1 child. In Sept. 1958 she was the Hog Capital
Queen presented by State Rep. Kenny Davis. Marilyn attended school after
high school to become a court reporter and also attended a cake decorating
school in 1970. She worked for a lawyer for 15 years & Sec. For City
of Kewanee for 15 years. Marilyn later divorced in 1957 or 1958 & later
married Robert E. (Bob) Hayden on 10/13/1967. He was a stock broker born
11/30/1927. They had no children. Bob died of lung cancer 8/31/1984. She
later married Dale Whiskers born 9/10/1923. They were married on 3/14/1985.
Dale died of lung cancer 7/22/2005. “Dale Whiskers father was Harry Whiskers
who on Oct 25, 1930 along with his brother Orville and Vernon Algren, husband
of Orville’s daughter and Lloyd Winslow kidnapped Earl Yocum, a Galva Banker,
and held him for ransom of $50,000. According to the newspaper, at 6:30pm
on Sat. Evening, Oct 25, the 3 men Orville, Algren, & Winslow, met
at a point about 2.5 miles northeast of Galva and drove to this city in
a stolen car. They parked near the Yocum residence and followed Mr. Yocum
to the theater, seizing him as he was leaving his car upon returning home.
They were Captured & sentenced to 7 year prison terms in Joliet penitentiary.
The entered prison on Feb. 28, 1931 & complete a little over 4 year
of their sentence.”
They had no children. Dale had 1 children from a previous marriage,
Doug Whiskers born 9/9/1949.

Schueneman
Crystal was born 10/26/1954 weighing 7 lbs 14 oz to Ron & Marilyn
Corwin. Crystal graduated from Wethersfield in 1972 and later married Mark
Schueneman born 4/24/1952. She attended Elkhart Institute of Technology,
Elkhart, IN and graduated in 1975, as a Medical Lab Technician. She worked
at St. Mary’s Hospital in Galesburg, IL as a Lab Tech. Crystal married
Mark 9/10/1977 at the First United Methodist Church of Kewanee. Mark graduated
from Wethersfield High School in 1970, and graduated from Southern Illinois
Uni. in Carbondale, IL with a degree in mortuary science. They had 2 children.
Today Mark is the owner/partner of the Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home,
where Chris is also the secretary. She also works for the Kewanee Hospital
Family Health Clinics.

On 2/1/1981 their 1st child was born, Jill Elizabeth. While in
high school she participated in band, tennis, pom pons and track.
Her junior year in track she qualified for state at Charleston, IL. Her
senior year she would also have qualified for state, but the day before
NCIC Sectionals she was involved in a car accident. She was not seriously
injuried but was not able to run. Jill graduated from Kewanee High School
in 1999, receiving the Rodney Rogers Memorial Medical Arts Award at graduation.
After graduation she attended Blackhawk East College graduating with an
associates degree in liberal arts & science. She will be attending
the Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, Peoria, IL for a RN,
BSN degree. Jill married ? in 2008
On 3/17/1983 Neil Hadley was born. In 8th grade he received the
Presidents Award for Educational Excellence. While in Kewanee High School
he participated in basketball, track, golf,and key club. His junior year
he was on the Key Club calendar. His senior year he was able to go to the
State golf meet with the team. Neil graduated in 2001 receiving the Odd
Fellows Award at graduation. After graduation he will be attending Blackhawk
East College, then transfer to Southern Illinois Uni. at Carbondale, IL
majoring in criminal justice.
